Driving Less Pays Up to 100,000 Won? Ulsan City Offers to First 1,100 Cars
Additional Implementation of Carbon Neutrality Points for Automobiles
Did you know about the Carbon Neutrality Points for Cars, which offer benefits of up to 100,000 KRW if you reduce driving your private car?
The Ulsan City government is accepting additional applications for this year's Carbon Neutrality Points for Cars until April 7. Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for 1,100 vehicles.
The Carbon Neutrality Points for Cars system provides incentives ranging from 20,000 to 100,000 KRW based on the reduction in driving distance compared to previous mileage, rewarding efforts to reduce carbon emissions by driving less.
The program targets non-commercial passenger cars and vans (up to 12 seats) powered by gasoline, diesel, or LPG. Electric, hybrid, hydrogen vehicles, and vehicles registered in other cities or provinces are excluded.
