Kumho Resort Reports Operating Profit of 8.7 Billion KRW Last Year... "Achieved Surplus Through Facility Investments"
Over 17 Times Increase Compared to Previous Year
Two Consecutive Years Since Integration into Kumho Petrochemical Group Affiliate
Kumho Resort announced on the 28th that its operating profit on a consolidated basis last year reached 8.7 billion KRW, achieving two consecutive years of profitability since becoming part of the Kumho Petrochemical Group. This figure represents more than a 17-fold increase compared to the previous year. Sales recorded 97.6 billion KRW, a 39% increase from the same period last year.
Kumho Resort attributed this to the resumption of economic activities following the COVID-19 endemic phase, as well as comprehensive facility investments and service improvements that strengthened its business competitiveness.
Kumho Resort plans to continue investing in its operating facilities and enhance customer services this year. First, Asiana Country Club (CC) replaced 60 golf carts with new models to improve customer convenience, completed locker room renovations including new powder rooms for men and women, expanded the parking lot, and installed a new elevator inside the clubhouse.
Among the two condominiums, Hwasun Resort will fully renovate 62 rooms across three floors by the end of April. Seorak Resort will improve its outdoor barbecue facility, "Garden Grill." Food and beverage (F&B) services will also be strengthened; Seorak Resort will sell a special edition in collaboration with "Mont Beer," a craft brewery in Sokcho. Tongyeong Marina Resort signed a contract to host the premium craft burger brand "Kritz Burger." Hwasun Resort plans to introduce a breakfast buffet.
