Black Yak Youth Sherpas is a project that the foundation has been running for eight years to jointly consider and solve domestic and international environmental and social issues. The newly selected 8th group consists of 35 members mainly from the 2030 generation. They plan to visit domestic island areas struggling with marine debris to conduct marine cleanup activities, while also engaging in domestic and international ecological garden creation activities to reduce carbon emissions and expand forests. Additionally, they will participate in eco-friendly activities that establish a new resource circulation system by recycling everyday plastic waste. Furthermore, they will actively take part in the foundation's public interest activities such as delivering 'Yak Hyo (孝) Boxes' containing Black Yak products and daily necessities to elderly people living alone nationwide, campaigns to find missing children, disaster area recovery efforts, briquette sharing volunteer work, and support for climate refugees.
