Jeon Du-hwan's Grandson Jeon Woo-won to Arrive Soon... Arrest Warrant Issued for 'Drug Use Charges'
I Will Apologize to the Families of the May 18 Victims
Jeon Woo-won, the grandson of former President Jeon Du-hwan, is scheduled to enter the country, and the police plan to arrest him on charges including drug use.
The Drug Crime Investigation Unit of the Metropolitan Investigation Division of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency stated on the 28th, "We have obtained an arrest warrant and a search warrant from the court for Jeon, who is expected to return, on charges of drug use," adding, "We will execute the warrants immediately upon his arrival at the airport."
Accordingly, Jeon will be arrested immediately after entering the country and will be transported by escort vehicle to the Drug Crime Investigation Unit building of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency in Mapo-gu, Seoul, for questioning.
Prior to boarding the flight to Korea in New York, USA, Jeon had said, "As soon as I return, I will go to Gwangju to apologize to the victims of the May 18 incident."

For about two weeks, Jeon has been exposing suspicions of slush funds involving the Jeon Du-hwan family, as well as various criminal allegations against acquaintances, through social networking services (SNS) and other platforms.
