Expectations are rising in the Chungcheongnam-do Cheonan city housing sales market. According to the Korea Housing Industry Research Institute, this month, Chungcheongnam-do's apartment sales outlook index rose significantly to 83.3, up 36.2 points from 47.1 in December last year.
This year, apartment sales transactions in Cheonan city have also increased significantly. According to an analysis of actual transaction data from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport by real estate research firm Realtoday, Cheonan's apartment sales volume steadily increased from 478 cases in December last year to 538 in January this year, and 866 in February.
The market prices of representative apartment complexes in Cheonan are also rising together. An industry insider said, “Due to the government's real estate regulatory easing policies, restrictions on loans, taxes, resale limitations, and mandatory residence have been greatly relaxed. Additionally, interest rates are expected to decline after the second half of this year, gradually reviving buyers' purchasing sentiment.” He added, “Cheonan has high accessibility to the metropolitan area and well-established living infrastructure, along with significant development prospects, attracting not only residents but also investment demand, showing a faster recovery compared to other regions.”
As the real estate market in Cheonan shows signs of recovery, demand is also focusing on newly launched apartments currently on sale. In fact, the sales representative stated that ‘The Sharp Sinbu Centra,’ located in the Sindujeong district, has been receiving steady inquiry calls since the real estate policy announcement in January, and the number of visitors to the model house is also increasing.
