Pharmaceutical Bio Association Opens Online Training for Industry Beginners
An online training course for beginners in the pharmaceutical and bio industry has been launched.
The Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association announced on the 16th that since the 2nd, it has been offering basic education (e-learning) in ▲Research & Development (R&D) ▲Regulatory Affairs (RA) ▲Insurance Drug Pricing for those who have been working in the pharmaceutical and bio industry for less than three years.
In addition to the existing online training on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) for excellent pharmaceuticals, three new courses in R&D, RA, and insurance drug pricing have been added. The R&D course aims to train practitioners who understand the entire drug development cycle from research planning to approval documentation. The training consists of ▲Basic Research ▲Process Development ▲Analytical Process Development ▲Technology Transfer ▲Clinical Trials and Approval. The RA course covers not only the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act and related laws but also the entire drug development cycle, formulation research, non-clinical and clinical trials, bioequivalence tests, and quality control, structured into ▲Basic Concepts ▲Regulatory Laws ▲Non-clinical and Clinical Trials ▲Approval and Review ▲Post-market Management. The insurance drug pricing course aims to help understand health insurance policies and insurance drug systems by educating on essential insurance drug pricing policies, including ▲Basic Concepts ▲Insurance (New Drug) Listing ▲Drug Pricing Decisions.

The association stated that within two weeks of the course launch, over 200 trainees have registered, showing strong interest. Applications for the training can be made through the Pharmaceutical Bio Association's education website (Integrated Education Center).
