Have You Seen the 'Dancing Legs'?… Ulsan Bridge Light and Music Show Unfolds on Weekend Nights
Starting from the 17th, every Friday and Saturday
4 sessions held from 8 PM each day
Have you seen the dancing legs? Every weekend, Ulsan Bridge gestures with light and dance.
Ulsan City announced that it will operate a Moving Light Show at Ulsan Bridge, which connects Seongnam-dong in Jung-gu and Samsan-dong in Nam-gu, from the 17th of this month until November 30th.
The Ulsan Bridge Moving Light Show runs four times every Friday and Saturday (8:00 PM, 8:30 PM, 9:00 PM, and 9:30 PM), with each session lasting 14 minutes.
Following a pilot operation last December, issues and citizen feedback were collected, leading to adjustments in the soundtrack and improvements in the production design. A colorful and splendid light festival unfolds against the backdrop of the Taehwa River.
The opening show starts at 8:00 PM, with the underside of the bridge gently illuminated by aurora-like lights to the theme song "Moon River" from the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's.
From 8:30 PM to 9:44 PM, songs such as the theme from Pirates of the Caribbean ("He's a Pirate"), "Happy" by singer Pharrell Williams, "Dynamite" by BTS, and "Dancing Queen" by ABBA are performed three times in light shows and ensembles.
An official from Ulsan City said, “Ulsan Bridge is reborn as a new cultural space and a nightscape attraction called the ‘Dancing Bridge.’”
