Jinju-si, Safety and Health Training for Participants in Public Job Projects
An Opportunity to Raise Awareness of the Importance of Industrial Safety and Health
Jinju City in Gyeongnam conducted safety and health education for about 600 participants of the '2023 First Half Jinju-type Public Job Project' over two days on the 14th and 15th at the citizen hall on the 2nd floor of the city hall.
This education was organized to prevent various accidents that may occur during project participation and to raise participants' safety awareness.
On that day, Jin Hyun-dong, the citizen safety and safety manager, and Seong Mi-jeong, the health manager, took charge of the education, emphasizing the importance of safety through lectures on industrial safety and accident prevention, emergency response procedures in case of accidents, and occupational disease prevention education.
Mayor Jo Gyu-il said in his greeting, "Making safety rules a part of daily life is the best way to protect your health and life. We will do our best to create a happy Jinju City where everyone can work safely and healthily."

Since February this year, Jinju City has been promoting the Jinju-type public job project for four months in areas such as public sports facility maintenance and public library administrative support to stabilize the livelihoods of vulnerable employment groups and revitalize the local economy.
