Daejeon City Special Judicial Police Crack Down on 4 Sites Violating the Air Quality Preservation Act
The Daejeon Special Judicial Police announced on the 7th that they have uncovered four business sites violating the Air Quality Preservation Act during a planned crackdown.

The detected violations included failure to report the installation of air pollution emission facilities (3 cases) and failure to conduct self-measurement of air pollutants (1 case).
Furniture companies A and B were caught in the crackdown for cutting wood with equipment rated over 15 kW without reporting the installation of air pollutant emission facilities.
Company C operated a boiler with an evaporation rate of 5 tons per hour (reporting required for 0.2 tons or more) for heating a large building without reporting the installation of emission facilities, and company D had reported the installation of air pollutant emission facilities but failed to conduct the required semi-annual self-measurements.
