The Concentrated Safety Inspection Resident Application System allows local residents to pre-apply for inspections of aging and vulnerable facilities that require checks, followed by joint safety inspections conducted with experts to eliminate risk factors.
Seongnam City announced on the 7th that it will implement the 'Concentrated Safety Inspection Resident Application System' to prevent disasters in small-scale, community-close public and private facilities within the city, and will accept applications until the 14th of next month.
The application targets community-close facilities such as village halls, senior citizen centers, bridges, welfare centers, and steep slopes vulnerable to landslides, all with a dedicated area of 1000㎡ or less.
Buildings under construction or facilities involved in lawsuits or disputes are excluded.
Once designated as target facilities, free inspections will be conducted during the concentrated safety inspection period of the Korea Safety Grand Diagnosis from April 17 to June 16.
The inspections will focus on facility safety and fire safety, and the results will be communicated to the managing entities.
Applications for inspections can be submitted through the Seongnam City website within the deadline. Applicants may also fill out and submit application forms available at the administrative welfare centers of the 50 districts.
