Modamoda Launches 'Chateau 1450' Beauty Curly with Wine Aging Method
Modamoda announced on the 6th that it has officially launched the limited edition ‘Chateau 1450 Edition’ on Beauty Collie.
Chateau 1450, which applies the principle of wine aging to a browning shampoo, sold out on the same day in all three limited sales held from January to February on Modamoda’s official brand mall, gaining attention as a new concept in the gray hair shampoo sector. Modamoda explained that due to continuous encore sales requests from consumers, they decided to officially launch it on Beauty Collie.
Chateau 1450 refers to Modamoda’s unique special method ‘1450,’ which matures polyphenols from black shampoo by decanting and aging them at a high temperature of 50 degrees Celsius for 14 days, inspired by the winery ‘Chateau’ representing the Bordeaux region of France. Through the aging process, the intensified polyphenols adhere closely to the hair cuticles, naturally covering gray hair with a deeper color than the original black shampoo. This utilizes the principle that the color of vintage wine deepens and the tannin properties become richer due to exposure to air.

A Modamoda representative said, “By applying the unique process of wine aging, we have further improved the browning effect,” and added, “As we have continuously developed and led new concepts in the domestic and international gray hair shampoo category, we expect Chateau 1450 to establish a promising position in the market.”
