Seoul City Recruiting Companies to Participate in Resource Circulation New Technology Expo
Held at Cheonggye Plaza on the 12th of Next Month
The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 6th that it will recruit companies to participate in the Resource Circulation New Technology Expo for the activation of waste resource recycling, scheduled to be held at Cheonggye Plaza on the 12th of next month, until the 17th.
The theme of the expo is "Activation of Recycling Using Waste Resources such as Waste Plastics," and it plans to create spaces including exhibitions of new recycling technologies and products recycled from waste resources that can be utilized throughout Seoul, as well as citizen experience zones to establish a culture of reuse.
Companies wishing to participate in the expo should submit an application form containing detailed descriptions and photos of their products and technologies to the email address of the person in charge at the Seoul Metropolitan Government's Resource Circulation Division. There is no separate participation fee. The city plans to finalize participants and allocate exhibition areas based on the nature of the products and the requested exhibition space.

Choi Cheol-woong, head of the Resource Circulation Division of Seoul, stated, "With the ban on direct landfill of household waste starting in 2026, the need for waste recycling is greater than ever," adding, "We hope that citizen participation in recycling practices will spread through reuse experience programs utilizing waste resources such as waste plastics."
