Ford Korea Launches New Ranger in Korea... "Continuing the Legacy of Pickup Excellence"
Wildtrak and Raptor Trims... Prices Starting from 63,500,000 KRW
Ford Sales Service Korea officially launched the pickup truck 'Next-Gen Ford Ranger' in the Korean market on the 2nd. The Ranger is a midsize pickup truck and one of Ford's flagship models sold in over 180 countries worldwide.
The new Ranger features a rugged and dynamic design that embodies the DNA of Ford pickup trucks. In addition, it underwent extreme driving tests in various environments, climates, and terrains across 130 countries. It was reborn as a consumer-centric model by reflecting the results of interviews and surveys with more than 5,000 customers.
David Jeffrey, CEO of Ford Korea, said, "Ford Motor Company has been making the best pickup trucks for over 100 years," adding, "We are very pleased to introduce the Ranger, born from solid technology based on Ford's unique heritage. We are confident that the Ranger will provide customers with the best value and satisfaction."
The newly launched Ranger is available in two trims: ▲Wildtrak and ▲Raptor. Both are equipped with a 2.0ℓ bi-turbo diesel engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The front features signature C-clamp headlights, completing a powerful and impressive exterior design. The interior, finished with premium soft-touch materials, has been upgraded with customer-centric features.
Drivers can intuitively and conveniently access and operate necessary information through a large 12-inch vertical touchscreen located on the center stack. Various infotainment contents can also be enjoyed via Ford's signature SYNC4® system. Additionally, advanced driver assistance systems such as ▲Active Park Assist, ▲Adaptive Cruise Control, ▲Blind Spot Monitoring System, and a 360-degree camera with a front detection system are applied, enabling stable driving in various driving environments.
The Wildtrak, which meets diverse usage purposes encompassing both commercial and leisure activities, offers a fuel efficiency of 10.1 km/ℓ (combined fuel economy standard), with a maximum output of 205 horsepower and a maximum torque of 51 kg·m, delivering powerful driving performance. Customized driving is possible according to terrain and environment through six driving modes. Convenience features have also been enhanced, including a towing capacity of up to 3,500 kg, clamp pockets in the cargo space, an improved bed liner in material and design, more convenient side steps, cargo management hooks, and zone lighting.
Meanwhile, the Raptor, which has solidified its reputation as a performance pickup truck, offers a fuel efficiency of 9.0 km/ℓ (combined fuel economy standard), achieving a maximum output of 210 horsepower and a maximum torque of 51 kg·m. It is equipped with seven driving modes, including Baja and Rock Crawling modes specialized for off-road and rough terrain driving, and features the first LED headlights ever installed on a Ranger model. It also has a robust chassis structure, Fox shock absorbers, and all-terrain tires. The Raptor aims to differentiate itself with a dynamic performance driving experience.

The Next-Gen Ranger Wildtrak will be delivered to customers in March, and the Raptor in the second quarter. Prices, including VAT, are 63.5 million KRW for the Wildtrak and 79.9 million KRW for the Raptor.
