Innocean-SBS Medianet, Priority Negotiation Target for KPGA Broadcast Rights
Broadcast Rights Granted for 5 Years Until 2027
The Korea Golf Tour (KGT) announced on the 28th that it has selected a consortium of Innocean and SBS Medianet as the preferred negotiation candidate for broadcasting rights.
Once the final contract is completed, Innocean and SBS Medianet will be granted the rights to operate KGT broadcasting rights for five years, from this year through 2027. They will be able to broadcast all tournaments and events organized and hosted by the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) and KGT.

It is reported that multiple broadcasters, including Innocean and SBS Medianet, participated in the second round of evaluation (PT assessment) held at the secretariat on the 27th. To ensure a fair and transparent evaluation, the judging panel was composed of both external and internal judges, and the process was conducted through a restricted competitive bidding method. Additionally, KGT explained that it established various evaluation criteria such as financial aspects, performance, and contributions to the development of KGT, thoroughly verifying multiple broadcasters from various perspectives.
