Government Provides 25 Billion KRW Support to Improve Reliability and Material Performance of SoBuJang
Reorganized into a Customized Menu Service for Demand Companies
The government will provide 25 billion KRW to improve the reliability and material performance of materials, parts, and equipment (SoBuJang).
On the 27th, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announced the launch of the "2023 SoBuJang Reliability-Based Utilization Support Project" with a total budget of 25 billion KRW. This project issues reliability vouchers to SoBuJang companies to actively utilize SoBuJang infrastructure established in the public sector and other areas. Since 2017, the ministry has supported 4,235 cases of reliability and material performance improvements for 2,626 small and medium-sized SoBuJang companies, leading to product quality enhancement.
Starting this year, the service selection method will be reorganized from a service provider-centered approach to a demand company-customized approach. Reliability service items, which were independently provided by each executing agency, will be integrated into a unified menu and offered to demand companies. This will eliminate the inconvenience of having to check each agency's available services individually and induce competition among agencies providing the same services, enabling companies to receive higher quality services.
