Investigation of NongHyup Employee Who Stole 15 Million Won in Front of Customer

On the 24th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked a bank employee in his 30s, Mr. A, on theft charges and are investigating the case.
Mr. A, an employee at the Nonghyup Bank branch located in Seocho-gu, is suspected of stealing money from a customer who came to conduct banking transactions on the 8th.
Mr. A received a request from the victim customer to bundle 170 million won in cash into 5 million won increments, but it is reported that he embezzled 15 million won by hiding it in a trash bin.
