Plus M Sponsors Korean Film Academy That Produced Bong Joon-ho
Plus M Entertainment announced on the 24th that it will sponsor the Korean Academy of Film Arts (KAFA) Graduation Film Festival. The company will support the overall festival, including film screenings, networking events, and awards ceremonies.
Plus M Entertainment, which declared its brand separation from Megabox last year, changed its name from Megabox Joongang㈜ Plus M. Plus M explained, "This sponsorship was carried out with a long-term vision to form close networks with the next generation of filmmakers and jointly lead the Korean film industry."
Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, the Korean Academy of Film Arts is the largest film education institution, having produced over 800 graduates including directors Hur Jin-ho, Bong Joon-ho, Jang Joon-hwan, Kim Tae-yong, Choi Dong-hoon, Yoon Sung-hyun, and Cho Sung-hee. The Graduation Film Festival will be held for three days from March 3 to 5 at Megabox Seongsu in Seoul.
