Kibo Partners with World Bank to Transfer Technology Evaluation System to Developing Countries
Chairman Kim Jong-ho Holds Overseas Cooperation Project Meeting with World Bank
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Kibo) announced that Chairman Kim Jong-ho held a meeting with Hassan Jaman, Director of the East Asia and Pacific Region at the World Bank, on the 23rd. Through this meeting, Kibo and the World Bank agreed to pursue various cooperation plans, including the transfer of the technology evaluation system to developing countries.
This meeting was held at the request of Director Hassan Jaman. He is the chief officer responsible for advising and providing economic support on economic development and poverty issues to member countries in East Asia and the Pacific. He took a special interest in Kibo's technology evaluation system after encountering it at the Korea Innovation Week event held at the World Bank headquarters in the United States in 2020.

Kim Jong-ho, Chairman of Kibo, stated, "Kibo supports startup companies that have been marginalized due to the lack of financial quantification by utilizing the technology evaluation system. Through localization of the technology evaluation system, it has been expanded and disseminated not only to Vietnam, Thailand, and Peru but also to the EU (European Union)." He added, "We are well aware of the World Bank's efforts to eradicate poverty and support economic development in developing countries, and Kibo will spare no effort as a partner of the World Bank."
