Gyeonggi Office of Education, 1,228 Personnel Changes... First Female Personnel Director
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced personnel changes involving 1,228 individuals on the 23rd. The effective date of the personnel appointments is March 1.
The Office of Education explained that the personnel changes were made with a focus on assigning key positions to public officials who possess autonomy, balance, future-oriented values, and professionalism, in order to support organizational restructuring and school field support starting March 1.
The personnel changes are categorized as follows: ▲ Grade 3: 6 people (1 promotion) ▲ Grade 4: 38 people (6 promotions) ▲ Grade 5: 336 people (59 promotions) ▲ Grade 6 and below: 848 people.
The Office emphasized that the principles of this personnel appointment include ▲ selecting and assigning talent that aligns with Gyeonggi future education ▲ balanced placement of personnel with communication and empathy skills to support fieldwork ▲ establishing a competency-centered personnel system that embraces change ▲ granting autonomy in work location according to smart work.
Accordingly, for the first time in the history of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, a female public official was appointed as the head of the personnel division. Additionally, regional support office chiefs were selected and assigned from capable administrative officers who have diligently worked in schools to foster consensus with the school field and create a positive working atmosphere.
