Renault QM6 QUEST, Two Months' Reservations Booked Within Two Weeks of Pre-Order
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Renault Korea Motors' 2-seater LPG sports utility vehicle (SUV) QM6 QUEST is receiving a great response, with reservations for two months' worth of supply made within just two weeks of pre-ordering.
On the 22nd, Renault Korea announced that it had received reservations for two months' worth of deliverable units in the QM6 QUEST pre-orders that began earlier this month. The QM6 QUEST is scheduled to be launched in March.
The QM6 QUEST is a 2-seater LPG SUV developed based on the existing QM6. It features a spacious cargo area created by removing the rear seats. Since it uses LPG as fuel, it also reduces the burden of fuel costs.
According to a survey on purchase purposes conducted by Renault Korea among pre-order customers, the majority of buyers responded that they chose the vehicle considering both daily and business uses. 76% of respondents purchased the QM6 QUEST to use it for business purposes during weekdays and for leisure and daily use on weekends.
In particular, many chose the QM6 QUEST for leisure activities requiring large equipment such as bicycles, surfing, snowboarding, and camping. It was also mentioned as a means for transporting pets and large musical instruments like cellos or drum sets.
The QM6 QUEST applies a 3rd generation LPI engine system. Its patented mounting system supporting the LPG donut tank provides high durability, safety, and vibration and noise suppression capabilities. The interior space is equipped with a partition behind the driver and passenger seats to allow safe storage. It offers 1413 liters of cargo space.
