Recently, with the ongoing high inflation, sales of kitchen appliances for home-cooked meals have significantly increased.
According to Electronic Land on the 20th, from the 1st to the 14th of this month, sales of electric ovens and electric rice cookers rose by 97% and 28%, respectively, compared to the previous two weeks. During the same period, dishwasher sales increased by 98%.
Electronic Land analyzed that consumers, feeling the burden of high inflation across society?including dining out prices, heating costs, and taxi fares?are choosing home-cooked meals instead of eating out, leading to increased sales of related appliances.
