Jung Yura "Jo Min, Mom is in Prison but Studio Photos... I Admire Your Mental Strength"
Public Criticism Again After Ten Days Following the 6th
Jung Yura, the daughter of Choi Seo-won (formerly Choi Soon-sil), who is serving a prison sentence after being convicted in the 'state power abuse' case, has once again publicly targeted Cho Min, the daughter of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk.
On the 16th, Jung mentioned Cho Min, who shared a photo taken in a studio on her Facebook.
Jung said, "I envy that mentality. Maybe I'm the only one trembling like a dog in the dog days, worried that my mother's sentence suspension won't be extended," adding, "I want to live my life with the mentality to take studio photos as if nothing happened even if my mother goes to prison."
Cho's mother, former Dongyang University professor Jung Kyung-shim, is currently imprisoned after being sentenced to four years for her involvement in her children's admission fraud.
Jung continued, "Did I win my medals just for myself, or was it to bring honor to the country? As evidence, my degree was revoked, but the 2014 Asian Games team event medal still stands," adding, "It was so absurd that I tried to gather party members to burn the Asian Games medal, but I couldn't even find where it was."
She then pointed out, "Athletes prove themselves through their performance, not through agitation and words like the leftists do," and said, "Those who desperately try to deny the clear results are just pitiful."
Jung participated as a national representative in the team dressage event at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games and won a gold medal.

Earlier, Cho appeared on Kim Eo-jun's YouTube broadcast and said regarding her obtaining a medical license with false credentials, "I heard from colleagues and seniors that I was sufficiently qualified as a doctor."
In response, Jung said at the time, "What was so lacking in my qualifications as an equestrian that your father (former Minister Cho Kuk) said that to me?" and added, "If there were issues with my results or rankings, all medals from that period could have been revoked."

Jung also rebutted, "Unfairness is that you are still practicing medicine, and mine is the strange Democratic Party logic of 'swallow if sweet, spit if bitter' that says 'the Asian Games medal is valid, but the skill is fake,'" adding, "No matter what the left says, my medal is not forged."
