Mayor Park Hyung-jun stated, "Since about 70% of information security companies and personnel are concentrated in Seoul, there have been limitations in the growth of the local information security industry ecosystem. Starting with today’s agreement, we will unite with the country’s leading information security associations, academic societies, and local information security companies to focus our capabilities on creating an information security cluster linked to regional strategic industries."
