[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dong-hyun] The Chinese government expressed strong dissatisfaction with the U.S. House of Representatives resolution condemning the intrusion of a 'reconnaissance balloon' into U.S. airspace.
Mao Ning, spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated at a regular briefing on the 10th that the U.S. House resolution is "a completely political maneuver and exaggeration."
Spokesperson Mao emphasized, "China has already explained the situation and stated its position several times regarding the unexpected incident in which a Chinese unmanned aerial vehicle inadvertently entered U.S. airspace due to force majeure."
However, when asked what was attached to the balloon shot down by the U.S., Mao explained, "We do not have relevant information."
