The social media account of Cho Min, daughter of former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk, is enjoying explosive popularity.
As of 2 p.m. on the 7th, the number of followers on Cho's official Instagram, which was launched on the 14th of last month, has surpassed 84,000.
Before Cho appeared on the YouTube channel "Kim Eo-jun's Humility is Difficult News Factory," her followers were only about 10,000. In just one day, the number of followers increased nearly eightfold.
She has also long surpassed the follower count of her "dad," former Minister Cho, who was adept at using social media. Former Minister Cho's follower count is in the 7,100 range.

The day before, Cho appeared in person on Kim Eo-jun's pre-recorded YouTube channel to express her stance on the sentencing of former Minister Cho.
This is the first time Cho has revealed her face and given an interview since the controversy surrounding former Minister Cho's family erupted in 2019.
Although she was interviewed on TBS, hosted by Kim Eo-jun, in 2019, only her voice was disclosed at that time.
The video was not a live broadcast but a recording conducted after the first trial sentencing of former Minister Cho on the 3rd, garnering about 1.45 million views and attracting significant attention.
Cho said, "For the past four years, I have lived only as the daughter of former Minister Cho Kuk, but watching my father receive a prison sentence made me deeply reflect on whether I was living with integrity. I am confident. I have lived without shame. That is why I made up my mind. From now on, I want to live proudly as Cho Min, not just as the daughter of Cho Kuk, without hiding."
She also explained, "I have already started a new SNS account, and the first photo I posted was taken beautifully in a studio." Regarding concerns that there might be people who harass her through comments on social media, she said, "They are welcome. Please share many opinions."
