"Ensuring Employee Safety" Hyundai Mobis Opens Training Facility
Providing Training to Employees of Affiliates and Partner Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Gyumin] Hyundai Mobis announced on the 7th that it has established and officially opened the SH&E (Safety·Health·Environment) Academy in Cheonan, Chungnam.
This facility is an in-house training center established to cultivate safety professionals and to foster safety awareness among supervisors responsible for workers' safety.
The SH&E Academy offers 16 training courses in both online and offline formats. This is an expansion from the 5 courses conducted last year for some safety management personnel. Representative courses include chemical substances, gases, fire safety, expert training programs, and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) certified safety education courses. This year, about 3,500 Hyundai Mobis employees are expected to complete the training.
Hyundai Mobis also operates customized programs optimized for workplace sites. Notably, VR experiential training has been newly introduced. In addition, safety and health personnel from integrated affiliates launched last year will be supported to complete the training courses. Offline training will be provided to safety and health staff of major partner companies.
