Former Hungarian Ambassador Park Cheol-min Appointed as Ulsan City's New International Relations Ambassador
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Former Hungarian Ambassador Park Cheol-min has been appointed as the new International Relations Ambassador of Ulsan City.
Ulsan City announced that the appointment ceremony for former Ambassador Park will be held at 9 a.m. on the 6th in the mayor's office on the 7th floor of the city hall main building.
New International Relations Ambassador Park Cheol-min graduated from the Department of Diplomacy at Seoul National University and passed the 23rd Foreign Service Examination. He entered public service in May 1989 as a Foreign Service Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He subsequently served as First Secretary at the Embassy in the Netherlands, Counselor at the Embassy in Russia, Minister-Counselor at the Permanent Mission to the United Nations, Director of the European Affairs Bureau, Ambassador to Portugal, and Ambassador to Hungary.
From March 2019 to November 2020, he served as the Foreign Policy Secretary at the National Security Office.
