'High School Rapper 2' Yoon Byung-ho Sentenced to 4 Years in Prison for Drug Use Charges
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-joo] Rapper Yoon Byung-ho (23, Bully Da Bastard), who appeared on the hip-hop audition program 'High School Rapper 2,' was prosecuted on drug use charges and sentenced to prison.
According to the Yeoju Branch of Suwon District Prosecutors' Office on the 3rd, the Criminal Division of Yeoju Branch Court of Suwon District Court (Chief Judge Jo Jeong-ung) sentenced Yoon, who was indicted for violating the Narcotics Control Act, to four years in prison. Additionally, he was ordered to complete a 40-hour drug addiction recidivism prevention education program and fined 1,635,000 KRW.
The court explained the sentencing by stating, "The defendant admitted most of the criminal facts and reached a settlement with the victims regarding the special injury charges."
Yoon was arrested and indicted last July for smoking marijuana and using methamphetamine at his home in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon. During police investigation, Yoon admitted to purchasing and using drugs from a dealer he met through social networking services (SNS).
