View original image[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Early Childhood Education Center at Kyungbok University received an A grade for four consecutive years and was awarded the Minister of Health and Welfare Award in the '2022 Comprehensive Evaluation of Group In-service Training Institutions' conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and implemented by the Korea Childcare Promotion Institute.
Since being selected as an in-service training institution for childcare workers in the Namyangju-Guri area by Gyeonggi Province in 2018, the Kyungbok University Early Childhood Education Center has educated a total of about 1,000 people, including current daycare teachers for promotion training and director training for childcare workers until 2022.
Last year, the in-service training for childcare workers was conducted in three sessions, including Level 1 promotion training and pre-training for directors.

Park Mi-kyung, director of the Kyungbok University Early Childhood Education Center, emphasized, "Based on our experience operating high-quality professional education programs using a blended online-offline learning method, we provided education suitable for the new normal era, resulting in high satisfaction. The fact that Kyungbok University received an A grade for four consecutive years in the comprehensive evaluation means that our on-site job competency enhancement programs are recognized by current childcare workers in the local community."
