Recruitment for Global Startup Academy Entrants... New AI and Investment Attraction Training Introduced
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 1st that it is recruiting 60 (preliminary) startup companies to enroll in the 'Global Startup Academy.'
Established in 2020, the Global Startup Academy targets (preliminary) entrepreneurs within three years of business experience who aim to enter the global market from the early stages of their startup by utilizing D.N.A. (Data, Network, Artificial Intelligence) technologies.
The 60 selected teams can move into an open workspace located at G Tower in Guro, Seoul. They can selectively take various programs conducted from April to December, and graduate upon completing more than 150 credits.
This year, AI-related education has been strengthened within the D.N.A. fields, which are the top 10 breakthrough technologies, by establishing a new AI-based service technology education course. To increase investment attraction opportunities for enrolled companies, an intensive investment attraction program has also been newly introduced.
Depending on overseas expansion achievements, up to 80 million KRW in commercialization funds will be supported, and participants can also join networking programs such as student meetings and invitations to senior companies.
