Korea Game Industry Association and NCSoft Support Game Startups
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] The Korea Game Industry Association, sponsored by NCSoft, will operate a joint booth for game startups BTB at the '2023 Taipei Game Show' on February 2-3.
The game startup companies participating in the joint booth were recommended from regions where the Global Game Hub Center has been established. Among the recommended companies, five were selected after screening: 'Anidyu', 'Ace Star Corporation', 'Ondot', 'GenieSoft', and 'Play Mephisto Waltz'.
This global overseas expansion support project, conducted by the association for the first time, aims to provide business opportunities for game startup companies and is part of NCSoft's ongoing support activities for small and medium-sized enterprises.

An association official stated, "Until now, joint booths mainly highlighted the booth organizers. This time, we actively utilized the game content images of the participating companies," adding, "We plan to actively support the operation together with NCSoft so that the participating companies can receive content feedback locally and achieve results in finding partners."
