Geochang-gun Holds First Childcare Policy Committee Meeting of the Year
Discussion on Creating a Stable Childcare Environment
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam held the 1st Childcare Policy Committee meeting of 2023 in the mid-sized conference room of the county office, attended by 11 childcare policy committee members.
The Geochang-gun Childcare Policy Committee is composed of 12 members from various fields, including childcare experts, daycare center directors and childcare teachers to hear voices from the childcare field, and parent representatives, to ensure that diverse opinions on childcare in the local community are reflected. They review and decide on childcare policy matters every year.
This meeting reorganized the committee through the appointment of new members and reappointment of existing members in 2023, and deliberated on the agenda regarding the reappointment of directors of public daycare centers.
Also, according to the 2023 Geochang-gun Childcare Project Implementation Plan, the meeting proceeded with reports on ▲the basic direction of childcare projects ▲daycare center establishment and supply-demand management plans ▲plans to expand public daycare centers ▲daycare center operation and evaluation ▲determination of childcare fees and necessary expense collection limits.
