Jeju Air Announces Open Recruitment for New Cabin Crew Members
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Jeju Air announced on the 27th that it will conduct an open recruitment for new cabin crew members. It is the first time in 3 years and 4 months.
Applications for Jeju Air's 2023 first half new cabin crew open recruitment can be completed and submitted on the recruitment website by February 2nd.
There are no educational restrictions, but applicants must have already graduated or be able to graduate by February, and must have no disqualifications for overseas travel. Language specialists in countries where Jeju Air operates (Japan, China, Russia, Southeast Asia, etc.) are preferred.
Additionally, certified language test scores such as TOEIC above a certain standard must be submitted. Applicants cannot apply for overlapping positions divided between Seoul and Busan work locations.
The announcement of successful candidates and detailed selection schedules can be found on the Jeju Air website recruitment notice board.
The selection process involves an online personality test only for those who pass the document screening after application submission, followed by two interviews and a medical examination to determine the final successful candidates. No separate physical fitness test is conducted; instead, certificates issued by the National Fitness 100 Certification Centers under the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation nationwide are used as official physical fitness test documents.

A Jeju Air official said, “We are conducting an open recruitment for cabin crew for the first time in 3 years and 4 months due to the impact of COVID-19,” and added, “As international flight operations recover and next-generation aircraft are scheduled to be introduced this year, we will actively work on rebuilding the foundation for business normalization through new recruitment.”
