Jipyeong Brewery Reports 44.1 Billion KRW in Jipyeong Makgeolli Sales Last Year... "All-Time High"
Jipyeong Brewery announced on the 26th that sales of Jipyeong Makgeolli reached 44.1 billion KRW last year, achieving the highest performance to date. This represents approximately a 10% growth compared to the 40.1 billion KRW sales in 2021.
Jipyeong Brewery explained that the sales of Makgeolli increased at convenience stores, which are popular among younger consumers. Vegan certification and collaborative marketing with other brands also appeared to have contributed to the sales growth.
