View original imageEcoPro Materials is a secondary battery-related company that first settled in the Yeongilman Industrial Complex in Pohang in 2017, producing precursors, the source materials for cathode materials used in lithium secondary batteries.
Until now, domestic battery manufacturers have largely depended on China for the supply chain of secondary battery materials and raw materials. However, EcoPro Materials has built an independent domestic supply chain without relying on foreign countries by leveraging its precursor production capacity, a core raw material for secondary batteries, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the domestic secondary battery ecosystem. Currently, it employs about 450 workers, contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.
