According to Mokpo Maritime Police, on the morning of the 20th, they visited the social welfare facility Mokpo Gongsaeng Rehabilitation Center to deliver consolation money, and then visited Bukhang-dong Administrative Welfare Center to deliver 30 bags of rice (10kg each) as consolation goods, sharing warmth with neighbors who might otherwise be easily neglected.
They also participated in creating a warm local community by delivering consolation money in a non-face-to-face manner to Jahye Nursing Home (located in Muan-gun), a residential facility for the disabled in Sinan-gun, and underprivileged students.
Employees of Mokpo Maritime Police Station gathered small donations every month to help neighbors in need through a fund for underprivileged neighbors, and plan to continue neighborly love sharing activities in the future.
