Imsil-gun Implements 'Comprehensive Measures for Livelihood Stability During Seol Holiday'
[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, is implementing a comprehensive plan to stabilize people’s livelihoods during the Lunar New Year holiday period.
The county announced on the 19th that it will operate a comprehensive situation room by deploying 106 workers from the 21st to the 24th.
Centered on the comprehensive situation room, eight sectors will be activated: disaster and accident response team, price control situation team, living environment improvement team, water and sewage countermeasures team, traffic countermeasures team, medical quarantine countermeasures team, livestock and COVID-19 quarantine countermeasures situation room.
The county has made thorough preparations so that all civil complaints arising during the holiday period can be resolved immediately, allowing all residents to spend a safe and comfortable holiday with their families.
In particular, to prevent the resurgence of COVID-19, the COVID-19 Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters and quarantine countermeasures team will operate to maintain an emergency duty system so that the quarantine system, including screening tests and monitoring of infectious disease occurrences during the holiday period, can function normally as usual.
For emergency medical treatment for local residents, the public health center emergency room will operate 24 hours, and designated on-duty medical institutions and holiday pharmacies will minimize medical inconveniences.
Information on hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies providing emergency treatment during the holiday period can be obtained in detail from the Imsil-gun Public Health Center.
To revitalize the local economy, the county is focusing on managing 20 essential holiday items to stabilize prices, while also offering a 10% discount sale on the local currency, Imsil Sarang Gift Certificates.
Additionally, plans are in place to expand local consumption for the holiday season through traditional market shopping events held with local businesses and organizations.
Various support policies will be implemented so that all residents, including low-income groups, can have a warm and abundant Lunar New Year by providing living expenses, goods support, and sharing holiday foods.
County Governor Shim Min said, “Although there are many difficulties in the people’s economy due to recent rapid price increases and economic recession, we will focus all administrative power to make this a generous holiday without worries about grocery shopping, a warm holiday filled with warmth, and a joyful Lunar New Year with happy reunions.”
