According to the Ministry of National Defense on the 19th, the military will maintain a standby posture with 580 rescue vehicles including helicopters, ambulances, and fire trucks, as well as over 3,300 personnel supporting firefighting, medical, and rescue operations to respond to emergencies that may occur during the holiday period. Thirteen military hospitals nationwide will provide 24-hour emergency medical services during the holiday, and citizens in need can receive assistance from nearby military hospitals at any time. From 2018 to 2022, around 200 civilians received emergency medical treatment at military hospitals during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays.
