From the evening, rain or snow will begin to fall in the metropolitan area and inland/mountain areas of Gangwon, expanding at night to the central region, Jeonbuk, northern inland Gyeongbuk, and northeastern mountain areas of Gyeongbuk.
Expected snowfall amounts are 1?5 cm in inland/mountain areas of Gangwon, 1?3 cm in eastern Gyeonggi and northern Chungbuk, and around 1 cm in southwestern Gyeonggi and northern Chungnam. Less than 1 cm of snow will fall in Seoul, Incheon, northwestern Gyeonggi, Chungcheong region (excluding northern parts), northern inland Gyeongbuk, and northeastern mountain areas of Gyeongbuk.
Light rain will fall in the central region (excluding the eastern coast of Gangwon) and northern inland/northeastern mountain areas of Gyeongbuk. Expected precipitation is less than 5 mm. Morning low temperatures are forecast to be between -11 and 0 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs ranging from 2 to 7 degrees. Seoul will drop to -5 degrees in the morning.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Bad' in southern Gyeonggi, Sejong, Chungbuk, Chungnam, and Jeonbuk, while other regions will be at 'Moderate' levels. Seoul, Incheon, and northern Gyeonggi are expected to reach 'Bad' levels starting at night.
Sea waves will be 0.5?2.0 m in the East Sea nearshore, 0.5?2.0 m in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5?1.0 m in the South Sea nearshore. Wave heights in the offshore areas (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.0?2.0 m in the East Sea, 0.5?2.5 m in the West Sea, and 0.5?2.0 m in the South Sea.
