Daniel Henney's 'Search 2' to Release in February
The movie 'Search' is returning with a sequel.
On the 17th, Sony Pictures Korea announced that 'Search 2' will be released in February. The film is a sequel to 'Search,' which attracted 2.95 million viewers in 2018, and depicts a college student daughter’s desperate efforts to find her mother who went missing during a trip using cutting-edge digital devices and online media. Following the previous film, it showcases a clever directing style utilizing social networking services (SNS) and PC screens.

Nicholas D. Johnson and Will Merrick, who handled the editing of the previous film, are directing, and Anish Chaganty, who directed 'Search' and 'Run,' wrote the screenplay. Storm Reid, who gained attention for 'Euphoria,' and Daniel Henney have joined the cast. Henney plays FBI investigator Eliza Park, who searches all the information available on the internet to find traces of the missing person.
