Recently, as fine dust has become more severe, sales of air purifiers at Electron Land have significantly increased.
According to Electron Land, from the 7th to the 13th of this month, air purifier sales rose by 31% compared to the previous week. During this period, some regions issued ultrafine dust warnings, recording the worst air quality of this winter.
Air purifiers have now become home appliances whose sales trends are highly sensitive to changes in the climate and environment. They have shifted from being appliances purchased during specific seasons such as the change of seasons or early winter to appliances bought immediately as needed based on changes in air quality.

An Electron Land representative stated, “Since last year, as outdoor activities have increased again, consumers have become more sensitive to changes in air quality, which seems to have influenced the rise in demand for air purifiers. Because fine dust levels fluctuate, sales of air purifiers are also expected to increase periodically.”
