Final Selection Resident Briefing Session Held for 41 Households
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 16th that it held a residents' briefing session for 41 households finally selected for the Jukjeon District urban regeneration home repair support project.
The home repair support project is an urban regeneration project for the Jukjeon District selected through a public contest in 2020. It is a project that supports the improvement of the external landscape by repairing roofs, rooftops, exterior walls, windows, fences, gates, and more.
At this residents' briefing session, the overview of the home repair support project, support details, future schedule, selection criteria, and exclusions for target households were explained, and residents' opinions were collected.

View original imageThe county plans to sequentially support home repairs for 80 households by investing a total budget of 700 million KRW by 2024, and the first phase of the 2023 project will support home repairs for 41 households with a budget of about 400 million KRW.
Jang Bong-gi, Director of the Urban Architecture Division, said, "We will strive to create a unique urban regeneration home repair project model for the Jukjeon District by continuously communicating with residents."
