[Asia Economy Reporter Byeon Seon-jin] On the 12th, the positive rate of entrants who underwent immediate testing at the airport after departing from China was found to be 12.7%.
According to the Central Disease Control Headquarters on the 13th, among 1,628 people who arrived at Incheon International Airport from China the previous day, 229 short-term foreign residents underwent polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing at the airport testing center, and 29 (12.7%) were confirmed positive. The positive rate has been gradually decreasing over the past three days from 14.7% → 13.2% → 12.7%.
Since the 2nd, the total number of people who entered through the airport from China is 14,635. The cumulative positive rate for short-term residents tested at the airport is 16.6% (512 out of 3,081), showing a gradual decline after recording 20.4% on the 2nd.
