YG Reveals First Members of New Girl Group 'Baby Monster'... 15-Year-Old Haram
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] YG Entertainment's next-generation rookie girl group 'BABYMONSTER' unveiled their first member through a video.
On the 12th, YG released the video 'BABYMONSTER - HARAM (Live Performance)' on their official blog. HARAM, the first member to be revealed, reinterpreted Mario's 'Let Me Love You' with her own unique sensibility.
HARAM filled the space with her soulful voice based on a calm piano melody without any stage props.
YG stated, "HARAM's video, showcasing vocal skills and emotions beyond what one would expect from a 15-year-old, along with her delicate expression that does not miss a single breath, was enough to move fans' hearts," expressing confidence by calling it "the essence of YG's traditional vocals."
Starting with the first video on the 1st, YG is sequentially introducing BABYMONSTER members through continuous promotions. The group consists of seven members, and content for the remaining six will be released following HARAM.
