HiteJinro, First Shipment of Zero Sugar 'Jinro'
Scheduled for Simultaneous Sale Nationwide at Marts and Businesses
HiteJinro announced on the 10th that it has made the first shipment of the zero-sugar 'Jinro' from its Icheon plant in Gyeonggi Province. Jinro will be sold starting in the metropolitan area and then in major commercial districts nationwide, including restaurants, large supermarkets, and convenience stores.
HiteJinro renewed and launched Jinro reflecting consumer trends that prioritize health. Applying the 'zero sugar' concept, no sugar was used, and Jinro's original taste was maintained through HiteJinro's 99 years of brewing technology. In particular, it features a cleaner and smoother throat feel.
Oh Seong-taek, Executive Director of Marketing at HiteJinro, said, "Jinro has been loved by consumers since its launch for its clean taste and young, trendy image," adding, "We will continue to strive to become a leading brand in the domestic soju market."
