According to Homeplus, online sales have grown at an average annual rate of 20% over five years since 2017, surpassing 1 trillion won in the 2021 fiscal year (March 2021 to February 2022). This is the result of focusing on customized delivery that allows customers to receive their orders on their desired date and time.
Homeplus has diversified its delivery services with options such as 'Mart Direct Delivery', 'Tonight Mart Direct Delivery', and 'Immediate Delivery'. Mart Direct Delivery is a same-day delivery service utilizing 121 large marts nationwide as logistics hubs. Tonight Mart Direct Delivery allows customers to receive products by midnight of the same day if the order is completed by 7 PM. The 1-hour Immediate Delivery, also known as quick commerce, delivers to customers within about an hour from 253 Homeplus Express stores nationwide.
