Ministry of SMEs and Startups Holds Briefing Session on Support Programs for SMEs and Small Businesses
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 8th that it will hold briefing sessions from the 12th to February 10th to help small and venture businesses and small merchants understand support projects and guide them on how to apply.
The briefing sessions consist of a "Comprehensive Briefing" held simultaneously on the 12th at 13 regional Small and Medium Venture Business Offices nationwide, and "Visiting Briefings" that visit sites by policy target from the 13th to February 10th.
The Comprehensive Briefing will explain systems and projects supporting small and venture businesses and small merchants in 12 areas including the Ministry’s policy direction, startup ventures, sales channels, regions, workforce, manufacturing innovation, export, finance, small merchants, business recovery support, research and development (R&D), and technology protection.
The Visiting Briefings will be flexibly held online and offline, considering quarantine guidelines according to the COVID-19 situation in each region.
For small businesses and small merchants who find it difficult to attend, project explanation booklets and policy explanation videos for major support areas will be posted on the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Kieop Madang websites.
Schedules and booklets related to the briefing sessions can be checked on the Ministry of SMEs and Startups website and Kieop Madang website. Small business owners interested in the briefing sessions can attend by contacting the nearest regional Small and Medium Venture Business Office without separate application. Attendees of the on-site briefing sessions will receive the "2023 Small Business Support Projects" booklet.
