[Photo] Gu Ja-yeol, Chairman Visiting CES, Deeply Engaged in Metaverse at Lotte Exhibition Zone
On the opening day of CES 2023, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition, on the 5th (local time), Koo Ja-yeol, Chairman of the Korea International Trade Association, listened to an explanation about the metaverse from Kim Dong-gyu, CEO of Caliberus, at the Lotte Information & Communication exhibition zone set up in the central hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in the United States. Caliberus, a subsidiary of Lotte Information & Communication, is a metaverse-specialized company. Participating in CES for the second consecutive year, Lotte Information & Communication expanded its exhibition space more than threefold compared to the previous year, setting up a 130-pyeong (432㎡) pavilion. They unveiled metaverse services and an integrated healthcare platform.
