Daegu Office of Education to Hire 43 Security Guards and 60 Janitors... Retirement Age 65, Monthly Salary 1.8 Million Won
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Koo Dae-sun] The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education is recruiting 43 on-duty security guards and 60 sanitation workers to work at elementary, middle, and high schools as well as institutions under the city education office. Applications will be accepted until 6 p.m. on the 10th.
Applicants must have an address in Daegu and preference will be given to quasi-seniors aged 50 and above. Twice the number of candidates will be selected through document screening, followed by interviews to determine the final successful applicants.
The Daegu Metropolitan Office of Education stated that the final successful candidates will start working from March 1, and their status will be indefinite-term contract employees who can continue working until the retirement age of 65. Monthly wages will be paid between 1.6 million and 1.8 million KRW.
The recruitment method is by application and hiring per school (institution), and applicants can only apply to one school (institution); multiple applications are not allowed. Applicants must check the working hours and commuting conditions for each school (institution) before applying. Also, applying for both on-duty security guard and sanitation worker positions simultaneously is not permitted, so applicants should be careful when submitting their applications.
