Korea Securities Depository, Awarded ‘Best’ in 2022 National Critical Infrastructure Disaster Management Evaluation

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Korea Securities Depository announced on the 3rd that it was selected as the best institution in the '2022 National Critical Infrastructure Disaster Management Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and received the Presidential Citation.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety has been conducting annual evaluations since 2010 on 141 national critical infrastructure management institutions in 2022, based on the 'Disaster and Safety Management Basic Act,' assessing eight categories including protection goal setting, risk assessment, key risk management, and disaster management measures. This evaluation was conducted on a total of 141 national critical infrastructure management institutions across 11 sectors such as energy, nuclear power, transportation, and finance.
Korea Securities Depository received favorable evaluations by establishing a protection plan reflecting the institution's characteristics, including high interest from the head of the institution, securing objectivity in risk assessment, and managing protection resources.
